As a VCA Scribe Remote Services, your primary goal will be to reduce the amount of time. Scribe Specialists are given the laptops and other technical tools they need to perform their jobs, and they work from home all the time. The event is accessible to pukka Veterinary Technicians, seasoned veterinary sidekicks, and/or students currently finishing Veterinary School.

Responsibilities for the VCA Scribe Remote Services include

  • Using the VCA Scriber technological tool, listen to and access live audio recordings of veterinarians as they examine cases with the Croakers.
  • Condense important information into a succinct, understandable medical record by entering it straight into VCA’s “WOOFware” program for the veterinarian to review, approve, and sign.
  • Admit mistakes and take advice on how to condense important information into a concise, understandable medical record while making use of the resources at your disposal.

Essential Responsibilities And Tasks

  • You may access and listen to real-time audio recordings of veterinarians reviewing cases with the Croakers by using the VCA Scriber technical tool.
  • Through direct entry of the medical record into VCA’s “WOOFware” software, you may summarize critical information into a clear, concise record that the veterinarian can review and sign off on.
  • Acknowledge your errors and respond appropriately to guidance or criticism on how to distill critical information into a clear, succinct medical record.

Education/Experience

  • High school transcript a minimum of one year of experience working as a veterinary assistant or pukka technician.
  • Experience working in an executive portion of a veterinary sanitarium at least twice Required to be enrolled in veterinary school; proficient in medical terminology and the elements of high-quality medical documentation.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • Adeep love of pets and pet healthcare, as well as a strong desire.
  • To help Croakers in their efforts to provide excellent case care familiarity with veterinary medical terminology.
